A well-established law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its busy Personal Injury team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to support experienced fee earners handling a varied caseload of claimant matters.
The team deals with a broad range of personal injury claims, including employer’s liability, public liability and road traffic accident cases.
The Role:
Working closely with solicitors and legal executives, responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of personal injury files
- Undertaking legal research and preparing case documentation
- Drafting key legal documents, including witness statements, schedules of loss and disclosure lists
- Supporting client and expert meetings, including preparing attendance notes
- Liaising with clients, medical professionals and other third parties
- Ensuring files are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
About You:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A professional and empathetic approach when working with clients, particularly those who may have sustained serious or life-changing injuries
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Previous legal experience is required, ideally within personal injury, although applications from law graduates with relevant exposure will also be considered.
Additional Information:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday (no weekend working)
