Our client is a highly respected South Devon Law Firm which is seeking to recruit an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their busy Residential Property Team to work in their Torquay office.
You will report directly to the Head of the Property team and will have a high degree of autonomy in the conduct of your own matters and files. You will be supported by a team and work alongside the Commercial Property teams.
This is a new role to support the growing Property team and you will assist the Residential Team Head with developing relationships and identifying new referral channels from across the Bay. This presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to join a very well respected and successful team and offer quality and challenging work.
You will ideally be a qualified Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX qualified or have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the property sector with a desire to develop your skills and experience. You should be able to demonstrate:
- Strong procedural and technical skills in relation to all aspects of property work
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- An ability to work under exacting timescales
- An understanding of commercial awareness
- Sound working knowledge of regulatory and procedural requirements appertaining to all aspects of Residential work including a good understanding of SDLT procedures
