This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and organised Paralegal or Law Graduate to join a highly regarded specialist team working within Court of Protection matters.

Our client is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Paralegal to support their growing department in Plymouth. This role would suit somebody with previous legal support experience or a genuine interest in working with vulnerable clients and their families within a highly rewarding area of law.

The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and collaborative team acting on behalf of vulnerable individuals who require assistance managing their financial affairs and wider legal matters. The work is meaningful, varied and provides the opportunity to make a genuine difference to clients’ lives on a daily basis.

You will assist with matters including:

  • Supporting fee earners with Court of Protection files
  • Liaising with clients, families, support workers and third parties
  • Assisting with deputyship and financial management matters
  • Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Managing client files and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with the Court of Protection and external organisations
  • Assisting with property and financial affairs administration
  • Supporting vulnerable clients with empathy and professionalism
