Legal Southwest

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration or HR experience who enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the HR team, the successful candidate will provide administrative support across a wide range of HR activities, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day people processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates and external agencies.
  • Preparing employment documentation, including offer letters and contracts.
  • Organising meetings and maintaining HR records.
  • Supporting onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
  • Assisting with employee lifecycle administration, including starters and leavers.
  • Maintaining HR systems and producing reports as required.
  • Supporting training administration and recording employee development.
  • Managing absence records and other HR documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential personnel files.
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR function.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy HR team.
