Legal Southwest
We are seeking an experienced Legal Executive or Solicitor specialising in residential conveyancing to join a highly regarded legal team based in Kingsbridge, South Devon. This role is being recruited on behalf of a well-established firm known for its excellent client service and strong property practice across Devon and the Southwest.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of residential property matters from start to finish, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for clients. Duties will include:

Handling residential sales and purchases (freehold, leasehold, new builds, second homes)

Advising clients through every stage of the conveyancing process

Liaising with estate agents, lenders, clients and other professionals

Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
-
Managing case progression to completion with a focus on excellent client communication and service
The firm prides itself on client-centred service and has been awarded the Conveyancing Quality Scheme by the Law Society — a recognised mark of excellence in residential property work. Its Kingsbridge office provides tailored conveyancing services locally and across the region, supported by an experienced property team.
About You
To succeed in this role you will ideally have:

Experience in residential conveyancing, either as a Legal Executive or qualified Solicitor

Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and professional contacts alike

A proactive and organised approach, with the capacity to manage your own caseload

A commitment to delivering high standards of client care
