Our client is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join their team, with the role able to be based from several locations across Somerset.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering residential conveyancing services on behalf of clients, including handling matters relating to new builds, shared ownership and equity release. The role will involve ensuring that all property transactions are managed efficiently, effectively and to the highest professional standards.
Key responsibilities will include undertaking all aspects of setting up leasehold developments and dealing with complex residential conveyancing matters. The position will require carrying out due diligence across all stages of residential property transactions and demonstrating up-to-date practical knowledge of residential property law, including leasehold and freehold matters, registered and unregistered properties, sales, purchases, remortgages, new builds, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership, lease extensions, deeds of variation and related schemes.
The successful candidate will also be expected to undertake legal research where necessary in order to provide accurate advice to clients, while maintaining exceptional levels of client service at all times. The role will involve managing a varied caseload, achieving time and billing targets, and ensuring all matters are progressed effectively with files maintained in good order.
In addition, the role requires someone who can establish strong working relationships with colleagues, assist with departmental workflow where needed, collaborate on wider client projects and actively contribute towards the firm’s ethos of delivering exceptional client care.
