A well-established and respected law firm in Cornwall is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy property team in Penzance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment, handling a varied caseload with genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role:
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, delivering a high standard of client care throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
- Drafting contracts and legal documentation
- Conducting title checks and property searches
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Handling exchange of contracts and completions
- Submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced fee earner
- Proven experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines
- Proactive and commercially aware
