A well-established law firm in Newton Abbot is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and growing Property team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, providing a high standard of service to clients throughout the transaction process.
Responsibilities will include:
- Handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
- Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions
- Advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process
- Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent client care
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures
About You:
Applications are welcomed from experienced Residential Conveyancers, Licensed Conveyancers, Chartered Legal Executives and Solicitors with proven experience managing their own residential property caseload.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience handling a broad range of residential property transactions
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive and organised approach to managing files
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
