A well-established and respected law firm in Newton Abbot is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its busy and growing Private Client department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client lawyer to become part of a supportive team with a strong local reputation and an established client base.
The Role:
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client care. The role offers a high degree of autonomy alongside the support of an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a broad private client caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Advising clients on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Administration, and Trust matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Delivering clear, practical, and commercially aware legal advice.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
- Experience handling a range of private client matters independently.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently.
- A professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
