Private Client Associate / Lawyer – Plymouth
Our client, a highly regarded and well-established law firm, is looking to recruit both an Associate and a Lawyer to join their expanding Private Client team in Plymouth.
Known for delivering an exceptional standard of client care, the firm has built a strong reputation across the South West for providing trusted advice and support across the full spectrum of private client matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team with a loyal client base and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.
The Opportunity
The successful candidates will handle a varied and high-quality private client caseload, with responsibilities tailored according to level of experience. Matters are likely to include:
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and trust administration
• Inheritance tax and succession planning
The firm is seeking individuals who are passionate about private client work and committed to delivering a compassionate and client-focused service.
About You
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives or experienced Lawyers with solid experience in private client law. Whilst a minimum of 5 years’ PQE is desirable for the Associate position, candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Strong technical knowledge across private client matters
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• The ability to build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
• A collaborative and positive approach to team working
• Ambition to contribute to the continued growth and success of the department
