Our client, a well-regarded and long-established law firm, is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their friendly and professional team based in their Wells, Somerset office. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of two years’ post-qualified experience and a strong grounding in private client work.
The Role
As a key member of the private client department, you will:

Manage your own caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and lasting powers of attorney.

Provide clear, empathetic and high-quality advice to a broad range of clients.

Draft and prepare legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
-
Maintain excellent client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm and assist in developing best practice and enhancing client service.

Participate in business development and networking activities when required.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
-
At least 2 years PQE in private client law (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive).

Confident knowledge of wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.

A client-focused approach with the ability to communicate sensitively and professionally.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload.

A positive, team-orientated outlook with the ability to work independently where required.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance, professionalism and service delivery.
