A well-established and client-focused law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with practising rights to join its growing team. This position can be undertaken on a 100% remote basis.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of fast track personal injury matters from instruction through to conclusion, including litigated cases, while securing compensation for clients who have suffered loss or injury as a result of negligence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claimant personal injury fee earner looking to join a supportive and compassionate firm that places client care at the heart of its service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 100–120 fast track personal injury claims from instruction to conclusion.
  • Progressing matters through all pre-litigation stages using the firm’s case management system.
  • Conducting liability and quantum investigations, including obtaining witness statements and supporting evidence.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, insurers, medical experts, counsel, and third-party solicitors.
  • Handling litigated matters, including drafting pleadings, instructing counsel, complying with court directions, and progressing claims to settlement or trial where appropriate.
  • Maintaining conduct of files throughout the litigation process in compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with firm procedures, SRA standards, and procedural rules.
  • Maintaining accurate time recording and contributing towards financial performance targets.
  • Providing updates and reports to the Team Supervisor as required.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with a current practising certificate.
  • Proven experience independently handling claimant personal injury matters, including litigated cases.
  • Strong working knowledge of the MOJ Portal and pre-litigation procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation processes.
  • Strong communication and client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a wider team.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of running litigated matters through to conclusion.
  • A strong tactical understanding of working within a fixed fee environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected firm offering fully remote working, a supportive environment, and the chance to make a genuine difference to clients’ lives.
