Personal Injury / Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Our client, a well-established and expanding law firm in Cornwall is seeking a Personal Injury / Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its busy and growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of claimant personal injury and clinical negligence matters, including complex and high-value claims involving serious or life-changing injuries. The role requires confidence in managing files from initial instruction through to conclusion, while maintaining high standards of client care and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a mixed caseload of personal injury and clinical negligence matters
• Advising clients on liability, quantum, and prospects of success
• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Instructing and liaising with counsel, medical experts, and other professionals
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department

Applicants should have prior experience in personal injury and/or clinical negligence, along with strong communication, organisational, and client care skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
