We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and friendly law firm seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Family Law Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience within a busy family law department. Working alongside experienced legal professionals, you’ll receive excellent support and guidance while developing your legal knowledge and practical skills across a broad range of family law matters.
The Role:
As a Family Law Assistant, you’ll provide administrative and legal support to the team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
- Opening and managing client files.
- Liaising professionally with clients and third parties.
- Managing diaries and arranging appointments.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries.
- Supporting fee earners with a variety of administrative and legal tasks.
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
About You:
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be proactive, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Have a genuine interest in family law and developing a career within the legal profession.
- Previous legal or administrative experience in a law firm.
