Our client, a well-established and reputable medium-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and confident Solicitor who is comfortable working predominantly remotely (office time can be based from a space in Mid Devon or Taunton) and managing their own caseload with minimal supervision.
The firm has a strong presence across the region and offers high-quality legal services within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role:
You will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, with a particular focus on:
- Divorce and financial remedy matters
- Financial settlements
- Private children law matters (Child Arrangements, Specific Issue, Prohibited Steps)
The successful candidate will be expected to handle cases independently, provide clear and practical advice to clients, and maintain high standards of client care.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years PQE (more senior candidates also encouraged to apply)
- Solid experience in both financial remedy and private children matters
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a predominantly remote setting
- A proactive and client-focused approach
