The Role:
You’ll manage your own varied family law caseload, advising clients through what can often be some of the most important and challenging times in their lives. The role offers a broad mix of privately funded family work, including financial matters, children cases, and contested proceedings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advising clients on divorce, financial remedy matters, and children disputes.
- Conducting hearings and representing clients where appropriate.
- Preparing and briefing Counsel.
- Drafting legal documents, court applications, consent orders, and correspondence.
- Providing clear, empathetic, and practical advice to clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued success of the department.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 2 years’ PQE in Family Law.
- Has experience managing their own family law caseload.
- Is confident handling financial remedy matters, contested proceedings, and children matters.
- Possesses excellent communication and client care skills.
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
