On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor with ideally between 3 and 7 years’ post-qualification experience to join their established Employment Department.
The successful candidate will advise and represent both Claimants and Respondents across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. This will include handling Employment Tribunal claims, providing day-to-day HR and employment law advice, drafting and reviewing contracts of employment and policies, advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies and restructures, settlement agreements, and issues relating to discrimination and unfair dismissal.
The role requires a solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Strong advocacy, negotiation and client care skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. Business development experience or an interest in supporting departmental growth would be advantageous.
This position offers a genuine opportunity for career progression, including the potential to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in the future development and leadership of the department.
A competitive salary is offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications, together with the opportunity to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
