A well-established and growing Southwest law firm with offices across Exeter and Taunton is seeking an ambitious Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its highly regarded litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative firm that prides itself on delivering exceptional client service while providing a supportive and progressive working environment. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to expand its Dispute Resolution department and is seeking a solicitor who enjoys managing a varied caseload and building strong client relationships.
The Role:
You will handle a broad range of contentious matters, including:
- Commercial disputes
- Contract disputes
- Property litigation
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Debt recovery matters
- Professional negligence claims
- Contentious probate and inheritance disputes
- Partnership and shareholder disputes
- General civil litigation matters
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with appropriate supervision whilst also supporting senior members of the team on more complex matters where required.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in dispute resolution/litigation.
- Have strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills.
- Be confident managing client relationships and providing practical legal advice.
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate a proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving.
- Be keen to contribute to business development activities and the continued growth of the department.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
