We presently have 3 Compliance roles across Torquay, Plymouth and Newton Abbot, all roles are similar as per below:
These roles are to support the firm in maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance, risk management, and best practice across all departments. The position offers flexibility, professional development, and the opportunity to make a real impact within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote compliance awareness and best practice throughout the firm.

Assist with the development and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures.

Monitor and report on regulatory requirements, including AML legislation and SRA Codes of Conduct.

Support risk management activities, including reviews and audits (e.g., Lexcel, CQS).

Deliver training and guidance to staff on compliance matters.

Contribute to supervisory processes, including file reviews and mentoring.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have experience in legal compliance, risk, or regulatory work, with knowledge of AML and SRA requirements. Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, as is the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the firm. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as the role may involve travel between offices.
