North Cornwall | Full Time | 3+ Years’ PQE
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm with offices across North Cornwall, is seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join its busy and growing Litigation Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with Practising Rights who is looking to take ownership of a varied and high-quality caseload while working within a supportive, modern, and forward-thinking practice. The successful candidate will enjoy genuine autonomy, excellent client exposure, and the opportunity to play an active role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
You will manage your own diverse litigation caseload, delivering practical and commercially focused advice to a broad client base. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to business development, networking activities and the ongoing success of the department, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
This role would suit a commercially minded lawyer who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys client contact and takes pride in delivering exceptional standards of service.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with Practising Rights
- A minimum of 3 years’ PQE
- Experience managing your own litigation caseload with confidence
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of litigation matters
- Excellent client care and relationship-building skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach
- A sound understanding of AML compliance and risk management within litigation
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments
- A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
