Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (2–4 years’ PQE) to join the Private Client team in Sherborne.
The Role:
You’ll manage your own varied caseload of Private Client matters, providing practical, compassionate advice to clients while delivering an exceptional standard of service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate administration.
- Managing files from initial instruction through to completion.
- Drafting a range of Private Client documentation.
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients.
- Communicating complex legal matters in a clear and straightforward manner.
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Assisting with business development and networking activities.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to provide an excellent client experience.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with approximately 2–4 years’ PQE in Private Client law.
- Has experience managing their own Private Client caseload.
- Possesses excellent client care and communication skills.
- Is organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively.
- Has commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Enjoys developing long-lasting client relationships.
- Is a team player who values collaboration and a supportive working environment.
