Our client, a long-established and highly regarded Somerset law firm, is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team based in Bridgwater.
With a strong reputation across Somerset and offices serving individuals, families and businesses throughout the region, the firm is well known for delivering high levels of client care, clear communication and practical legal advice. Their Private Client department continues to expand and handles a broad range of high-quality work for a loyal and longstanding client base.
This opportunity would suit a newly qualified solicitor or somebody with up to two years’ PQE who is looking to establish or further develop a career within Private Client law. The firm is particularly interested in individuals who are personable, ambitious and keen to build long-term relationships with clients whilst developing their technical expertise within a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will join an experienced and collaborative team dealing with a varied caseload including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts and tax planning
- Elderly client matters
- Court of Protection related work
- Contentious probate matters where appropriate
The wider Private Client team has extensive experience in advising clients on sensitive and complex matters and prides itself on providing empathetic, tailored advice with an approachable and personal service. The firm also places significant emphasis on ongoing training and professional development, with support for further qualifications and continued career progression available.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and client care skills together with a professional and organised approach to their work. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team is important, as is a genuine interest in building a successful career within Private Client law.
