An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wills, Tax & Trusts Lawyer to join a well-established and highly regarded firm. This role offers exposure to high-quality, complex work and the chance to build strong client relationships within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role:
You will provide expert legal advice across a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Drafting and advising on Wills
- Establishing and managing lifetime trusts, including oversight of annual tax returns
- Handling estate and trust administration
- Advising clients on inheritance tax and wider capital tax planning
- Managing a portfolio of clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney (both property & financial affairs and health & welfare)
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and tax developments to ensure best practice and compliance
- Delivering a high standard of client care with a professional and empathetic approach
The Candidate:
- An experienced private client lawyer with strong technical expertise
- Solid working knowledge of inheritance tax and capital taxes
- Able to manage a varied caseload of complex and high-value matters
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Proactive, organised and committed to delivering excellent service
