Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm in the South West, with multiple offices and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to both businesses and individuals. The firm is recognised in leading legal directories and continues to grow its Employment offering.
They are now seeking an Employment Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team in Exeter.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to develop their career within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base, including businesses of all sizes, charities, and larger organisations across the region and beyond.
The role will involve advising on a wide range of employment law matters, including day-to-day advisory work and more complex issues. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing employment documentation such as contracts, policies, and settlement agreements, as well as supporting clients through internal processes including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters.
You will also assist with Employment Tribunal matters, managing cases from initial instruction through to resolution, and provide employment law input on corporate transactions. In addition, you will be encouraged to contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.
The Candidate:
The firm is looking for a newly qualified to 4-year PQE Solicitor or FCILEx with a genuine interest in employment law. You will be commercially aware, client-focused, and keen to build your career within a successful and growing team.
You should be confident managing or developing your own caseload, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach are essential.
