Commercial Solicitor

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Solicitor to join their legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and support on a broad range of commercial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and assisting with the drafting and negotiation of contracts. Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply contracts, service agreements and partnership arrangements.

• Providing clear, strategic legal advice to internal teams on commercial law matters.

• Conducting legal research to remain up to date with relevant legislation and industry developments.

• Managing contractual negotiations and disputes with clients, suppliers and partners.

• Ensuring all contractual documentation complies with statutory requirements and organisational policies.

• Collaborating with other departments to support efficient contractual processes and minimise legal risk.

• Maintaining accurate and organised records of legal documentation and correspondence relating to commercial activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor holding a current practising certificate.

• Demonstrable experience in commercial law, ideally within a corporate or organisational environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-specialists.

• Strong IT proficiency, including experience with legal management software and document management systems.

• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.

• High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills to ensure compliance and accurate record keeping.

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to negotiate effectively in high-pressure situations.
