A well-regarded boutique law firm based in beautiful Cornwall is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join its friendly, close-knit and highly respected team.
The firm has an excellent reputation for its private family law work, alongside established conveyancing and private client departments. With a modern, forward-thinking approach, the practice operates from a paperless office, using case management systems and digital dictation, and offers flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity for some remote working days.
The Role
The successful candidate will take over an existing and high-quality caseload of private family law matters, including:

Private law children work
-
Divorce and separation
-
Financial remedies / ancillary relief
This is a varied and engaging role offering a high level of autonomy, while still being part of a genuinely supportive and collaborative team. The firm undertakes a significant amount of its own advocacy, and the incoming solicitor will be encouraged to undertake court work as part of their ongoing development.
The role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, making it ideal for candidates seeking flexibility.
The Ideal Candidate

A qualified Family Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE

Solid experience in private family law, including children and financial matters

Comfortable managing a caseload independently

Experience in advocacy, or a strong desire to develop advocacy skills

Confident using digital systems, including case management and dictation software

A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, open-plan environment
