This well-established and dynamic law firm based in Plymouth is seeking a highly motivated Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their growing property team. The firm is known for delivering excellent client service and offers a supportive and progressive working environment. The Residential Property team handles a wide range of matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and leasehold transactions, and is committed to providing exceptional service to clients across the South West.
Role Overview:
Your previous experience will enable you to run a full caseload of new build plot sales on behalf of developers and new build plot purchase on behalf of clients, you will be responsible and confident in carrying out the following:
- Main point of contact for developers and clients.
- Acting for new build purchasers:
- review plot sale contract packs and draft title reports.
- reviewing searches and draft search reports.
- manage lender requirements and certificate of title, review mortgage offers, and issuing reports to clients.
- Acting for developers selling new build units:
- draft contract documentation for estate set up.
- responding to enquiries.
- managing plot sales and reporting to developers and agents.
- Manage exchange and completion.
After training, you will have the opportunity to work from home part of the week within a paperlight environment with essential IT equipment being provided to you.
Skills and Experience required:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with previous experience of working in a similar role with responsibility of running a full caseload.
- Communication skills and client care skills
- Time management skills and able to prioritise effectively
- Attention to detail, confident IT skills and a proactive approach to the role
