Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Wadebridge, is seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who takes pride in delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services and wishes to develop their career within a supportive and reputable firm.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Private Client Solicitor will be responsible for managing a varied and rewarding caseload, providing expert advice to individuals and families across the full spectrum of private client matters. Key responsibilities will include:

Advising clients on Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning

Handling Probate and Estate Administration
-
Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
-
Providing guidance on Inheritance Tax planning
-
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring the highest standards of service and care

Contributing to the firm’s business development initiatives and maintaining strong links within the local community
Candidate Requirements:
The successful candidate will:

Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in private client work
-
Demonstrate a sound understanding of Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning
-
Have excellent communication and client care skills
-
Be able to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
-
Ideally hold or be working towards STEP qualification (not essential but advantageous)

Be proactive, organised, and committed to delivering a first-class service
