Our client is a modern, progressive and specialist Solicitors’ Practice specialising in Medical Negligence and all types of Personal Injury Claims, enhanced with professional, highly experienced and approachable Residential and Commercial Property, Wills and Probate, Family Law and Employment Law Departments.

They are currently seeking to recruit a Personal Injury fee earner; the role would be suited to a qualified solicitor or CILEx.

It is essential that you have handled high value actions arising from Employers and Public Liability and Product Liability claims and worked with cases involving serious injuries.

In this role you will work closely with the Department Manager to take the practice into the future to grow and expand the PI team. The role will involve managing your own caseload of complex claimant Multi-Track personal injury files as well as assisting and supervising other members of staff.

Experience and Qualifications you need:

  • 5 years + PQE
  • Accreditation on the APIL and/or Law Society Personal Injury panels preferred
  • Significant experience of managing a caseload of Multi-Track serious injury cases Working knowledge of Employment Regulations, Highways Act, Occupiers and Public Liability and Animals Act
  • Experience of supervising other Lawyers preferred
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
  • Experience of working with case management systems is desired

You will be reliable and conscientious with great communication skills and a high degree of professional integrity. We are looking for team players who can adapt priorities to meet tight deadlines with drive and enthusiasm. You must possess strong IT and Microsoft Office skills.

With excellent communication skills, you will be keen to get involved in marketing initiatives and business development opportunities, of which you will have a proven track record.  A team player who is used to working under pressure and to deadlines, you will possess excellent client care skills and will be flexible, professional, highly organised and meticulous in your approach.
