On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant to cover reception and assist two fee earners in Family & Conveyancing.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents.
- Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports.
- Manage client billing by preparing and sending out bills.
- Communicate with clients to schedule meetings.
- Manage, organise, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems.
- Provide general administrative assistance.
The successful candidate will have excellent numeracy, IT, administration and organisation skills, together will a keen eye for detail.
A professional and confident manner, strong client care and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels are essential. Requiring a flexible working approach, an ability to prioritise against tight deadlines and work well under pressure, the right candidate will possess a willingness and the capability to work as part of the wider team.
Previous legal experience or a law degree is required.
