Our client has a number of offices across Somerset & Dorset. They provide a wide range of legal services to both individuals and business customers.

They are currently seeking a Head of Residential Property (Director) the role can be based from any of their offices across the region.

The Salary is very competitive for the region.

THE ROLE:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The firm is seeking to appoint a senior individual who is well known in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years PQE and should have experience in the following:

  • Equity release
  • Help to buy
  • Transfers of equity
  • Unregistered land
  • Leaseholds and freeholds
  • New builds

You will help the firm to achieve profit objectives, market the firm and add to its professional network. Key to this role is to provide a proactive and constructive input into the firm’s strategy. As a Head of Department you will optimise the performance of the team, ensuring its profitability. An ability to train, develop and manage the team as well as moving the department forward with innovative ideas would be expected.

You must also be able to prove you can be an ambassador for the firm and be able to win/retain clients and develop strong relationships with local agents.

This is also a potential board position for the right candidate.
