Our client is a reputable and well-established law firm based in Tiverton, Somerset and on their behalf we are seeking a qualified Solicitor to join their Family Law department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated legal professional to take on a varied and rewarding caseload within a supportive and client-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full and varied caseload of Family Law matters including divorce, financial settlements, and private children law cases.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and at hearings as required.
- Draft and review legal documentation including statements, applications, and consent orders.
- Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and case law.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Family Law department through business development and networking initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with current SRA registration.
- Proven experience handling a range of matters including divorce, financial remedy, and child arrangements.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
