Our client has a unique opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their New Build Team in Exeter.

The busy Residential Property team in Exeter provides a bespoke conveyancing service across England and Wales tailored to meet clients’ needs. This is a large team of skilled and respected Property Solicitors who pride themselves on their level of service, combining a traditional personal approach with speed and efficiency using the latest technology. A significant amount of work is received through recommendations from clients.

Now seeking a Conveyancing Assistant who can support the team in delivering this excellent service. The successful candidate will provide professional, proactive support to the team enabling them to remain organised and to work efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will be confident in communicating with clients and, under the firm’s lawyers’ direction, and will be comfortable ensuring that clients have the information they need if Solicitors are engaged elsewhere.

Standard responsibilities will include opening, closing and archiving client files, using the firm’s IT systems and packages, proofreading and updating dictated work, handling emailed or telephone client enquires, document production and assisting lawyers generally with administrative responsibilities.

You will be very well organised and will enjoy organising others. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how you have used these in your previous positions.

An ability to work closely with team members and a willingness to work as part of a team with the aim of achieving a common goal would be beneficial.
